PSHS Talent Show Success

On Monday Night, February 6th, Poland Seminary High School hosted the annual Talent Show! It was a thrilling night full of a lot of fun and of course, talent!

One of the stand out performances was by Mr. Suchora when he performed with the band Uncle Father’s Day.

The amazing support given to all of the performers was astounding and really shows the character of the student body.

Junior, Kenzi Baker stated, “It takes a lot of courage to get up there and perform in front of everyone; everybody gave it their all and did awesome!”

There were three solo performances by Kenzi Baker, Sarina Krell, and Samantha Gurd. Baker gave a soulful rendition of “House of the Rising Sun,” while accompanying herself on the piano.

Krell sang a song titled “Dancing in my Own” and shocked the crowd with her soulful voice.

Gurd threw the crowd for a loop by doing an original song called “Meet Again.”

There was also a duet, sung by Sydney Frost and Noah Landry. They performed “Here Comes the Sun,” which students may or may not know from The Bee Movie. For the first year in a long time not every performance was a musical talent, Christin Murcko blew the crowd away with her dance routine to the popular One Direction song “Drag Me Down.”

The closing act was done by none other than Eric Quimby. Eric surprised everyone by coming on stage to close the show with a performance of “Firework” by Katy Perry. He definitely got the crowd moving and singing along with him in order to end the night on an exciting note!
