College Credit Italian IV Class Christmas Carols in Italian
On Monday, December 18, Signora Farina’s second period College Credit Plus Italian class went Christmas caroling at the Blackburn Home, located on Water Street in Poland, Ohio.
All eight members of the class attended, including Signora Farina and her 6 year old son. Class members included Jenna DeLuca, Victor Di Tommaso, Rachel Mowad, Justin Blasko, Kevin Rabindra, Michael Puhalla, Mark Pompeo, and Noah Landry.
Italian carols such as “Tesoro, Fa Caldo Fuori” (Baby, It’s Cold Outside), “Tu Scendi dalle Stelle”, Jingle Bells, Rudolph dal Naso Rosso (Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer), and several more were sung.
The carols were accompanied by Noah Landry, who volunteered to play the piano, and the residents were taught several Italian Christmas words. They each received song-sheets for if they wanted to sing along. The residents then received place-mats made by the Italian club.
Buon Natale a tutti!
