Grammys Overview
Every year the countdown is on for the annual Grammy awards. In the past, the Grammys have been known to surprise us with insane fashion (some good and bad), great acceptance speeches, and some historical marks.
Who remembers last year when Adele re-started her tribute to George Michael, but then blew the crowd away? Or how some stars such as Katy Perry, felt it was the perfect night to make a political statement. The Grammys, once again, was filled with many more of these moments to be remembered. This year, the Grammys was hosted by James Corden, most popular for his “Carpool Karaoke” series.
Let’s be honest, a majority of the world watches the Grammys for the sole purpose of seeing their favorite artist perform. Artists that performed were:

Most importantly, we all want to know who took the biggest awards of the night. So if you forgot, or had to spend your night studying instead, here are the top winners of the night:

Overall, the Grammys were just as they always are, filled with music and people speaking out about the nations issues. All of the performances were impressive and the winners were not a surprise to most of us. So here’s to another year of music!
