Spring Break Staycation Ideas
Spring break is just around the corner, and if you are not going on vacation, you are probably trying to figure out what you want to do with all that free time. We have a few suggestions:
- Backyard Camping: Invite your friends and pack those sleeping bags, fire up the grill, grab a couple of flashlights and lawn chairs, and have some fun! Leave all of the electronics inside and get to know each other better!
- Video Game Olympics: If the weather is bad, host a video game Olympics. Choose short video games like Wii Sports or Mario Kart or even Fortnite and get started!
- Scavenger Hunt: Use a computer to print out clues and maps and goodies and hide them places. The clues can be written as puzzles or poems and leave prizes along the way until you reach the end.
- Go on a Bike Ride: There are plenty of places to ride bikes like Boardman Park or even just around your neighborhood.
- Go out to Eat with your Friends: There are plenty of relatively cheap places you can go to eat with your friends
- Roller Skating: This is always fun whether you know how to skate or not when you have friends there with you.
- Netflix Marathon: Sit back with popcorn and your favorite movies or TV series and binge watch with your pet or friends.
- Go to the Movies: There are a lot of really good movies playing in theaters right now so go check them out!
- Hang Out with Friends: You can throw a mini-party with pizza and board games and activities.
- Extreme Air: Eat pizza and bounce until you are dizzy!
I hope you found these ideas helpful to figure out what you are doing for your 2018 spring break!
