Poland Seminary High School debaters win trophies at their first (and second) tournament 

The Poland Speech and Debate Team just competed in their second tournament on Saturday, November 2 at East Liverpool High School. Although the season is just beginning for the team, they’re already acquiring wins. 

In Public Forum Debate, which is a partner debate event, Bella Catheline and Will Blumel came in third place overall at the tournament. There were three rounds, and they won all three of them. 

In Lincoln Douglas Debate, which is an individual debate event, Ashlin Rabindra placed first. 

The team has just begun their season, but there are surely more wins to come for these debaters and speech members at their next tournament!
