Congratulations to Carmen D’Alesio for attending Swim and Dive State!

Sophomore Carmen D’Alesio represents PSHS at the Swim and Dive State meet!

Carmen D’Alesio, sophomore, attended and competed in the Boys One Meter Dive event at the State Meet in Canton, Ohio. 

After a successful second dive season, D’Alesio secured seventh place at the District Meet. The top ten boys who place qualify to state. There were 34 boys competing at districts. 

D’Alesio reflects on his time competing at state. 

He said, “For my first time, I think it went pretty well. I probably could have done better, but overall, it was a great experience.” 

D’Alesio hopes to improve upon his multiple school records in the years to come. 

Stating his goals for his junior season, D’Alesio said, “My goals are to make it to state again and to hopefully do better than I did this year.” 

D’Alesio has certainly had an amazing season and represented Poland Seminary High School very well at both Districts and State! 

D’Alesio said, “I want to thank everybody who helped me along the way.”
