Each year, the Poland Seminary High School hosts the annual Holiday Shoppe, organized by the PTO. This event usually takes place on the first Saturday in November each year in the high school gymnasium.
The Holiday Shoppe is the perfect way to spend your day off this holiday season when searching for Christmas gifts. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of crafty, unique items small business owners were selling. They ranged from custom jewelry and clothing, children’s toys, homemade honeys, lotions, soaps, and so much more.
There were also a number of raffles in the hallway to be entered in. Just like the vendors inside, there were many options to choose from: a grill set for your husband, father, or brother; a Squishmallow set for your children; or delectable sweet treats and baked goods to bring to your upcoming holiday parties.
Lastly, the kids there on behalf of NHS, student council, or interact club did an amazing job working concessions and making sure all of this year’s Holiday Shoppe attendees were fed!
The Holiday Shoppe has been such a wonderful experience the past few years I have gone, and I hope to return for many years to come!
