As the week started, the JV team had their first real game on December 5th against the vicious Springfield Tigers. The game started off with a rough start by the Bulldogs, but within five minutes, the team flipped a switch. The game continued with back and fourth great plays between the two teams. As time went on, the team started to pull ahead, and not look back. The final score of the game was 57- 21.
As far as an offensive perspective goes, the Bulldogs were nothing but buckets. Shot after shot, the ball found the net every time. With a perfect playing calling of motion throughout the whole game, the Bulldogs took over the floor. With the ball in the Dogs’ hands most of the time, it made the game go by fast.
Moving on to a defensive perspective, it was nothing but perfection. Steals after steals, the bulldogs looked like a brick wall with no Springfield penetration. The chemistry between the team made this defense come together. Playing help defense and aggressive full-court press made the JV boys dominate.
In the end, this first, out of many games, really set off high standards for this team to come in the following weeks. To wrap this up with the famous words, all the squad “LET’S GO BOYS!”
