The Poland Student Council is known for hosting various fundraisers that give back to the community. Over the last couple years, there have been countless events targeted at donating money, clothes, or food to people in need. This year, the Poland Student Council is hosting a basketball tournament for all students and faculty grades 7-12 on March 11, 2024. This event is aimed to provide fun for all students and faculty who wish to participate while also raising money. 

Mrs. Kerpelis, Student Council Advisor, said that “while it is a fundraiser, we really want to let the kids have fun with their teachers and fellow peers. All money raised will go towards the Poland Local Schools fund.”

This fund is used to support any part of the Poland Local Schools System that needs money. Participation is encouraged for all students.

Tournament sign ups begin February 11th for all interested students or faculty. Please see the sign up sheet in the athletic office.

Entry fees are $10 per team. Keep an eye out for flyers around the hallways!
