Valentine’s Day is rapidly approaching and finding special ideas may become stressful with the time counting down. In this article, I will suggest multiple ways to find ideas and express some that I already know.
An adoration for the arts is one way you can celebrate your Valentine’s Day. Visiting museums, or going out to see a live band is an experience in itself. Exploring your local museum or any artistic event can make for a wonderful and peaceful date.
If you like the art of nature more, going out on a scenic walk in your local park may be right up your alley. Mill Creek MetroParks has several events around their building to celebrate the special week.
These events range from sharing and baking Valentine’s Day treats for your dogs to taking a walk with your kids (age 1-3) throughout their scenic trails with their Forest Babies program! Make sure to check out their Facebook or website for more information or how to register.
Another way you can locally spend your Valentine’s Day is by visiting or exploring your local restaurants.
Other events happening locally are the Valentine’s Sip and Paint at the Penguin City Brewing Company on February 8, A Valentine’s Cookie Class at One Hot Cookie on February 10, and the Valentine’s Day Market at Gorant Chocolatier on February 4.
