Poland takes first place in the NE8 after a big win over the Wildcats.
On the offensive end, Poland was led by sophomore Carmine Tukalo who had a monster night ending with 22 points and senior Cole Fulton also had 13 of his own on the night.
Andrew Todd, Oliver McCully, and Danny Nitolli each contributed 8 points each to Poland’s total.
Struthers was led by Jondel Estrada who had 20 points, and Jason Dukes who had 8 points.
Poland came out on top with the final score being a convincing 61-46.
Poland moved to 8-3 on the year, staying unbeaten in the conference and will go to face the Hubbard Eagles at their place.
Struthers moves to 6-4 with a big game coming up versus South Range.
When Junior Oliver McCully was asked how he thought the game went he responded, “We played a tough first half, but coming out of half time we got our defense rolling and we built off that.”
