In recent weeks, Poland Seminary High School has commenced the selection process for 2024 Camp Fitch Counselors.
The class of 2025 will compete against one another for a spot on the staff. Only five male and five female junior counselors will be selected. Application essays were assigned 2-2-24 and were due 2-9-24.
Here, students state why they would like to be a Camp Fitch Counselor and explain the traits they possess that could benefit campers. After submitting the essay, a panel of Poland Middle School teachers and administrators rank essays from worst to best.
The top essays are picked, and those students will be interviewed by the board. The process moves quickly, as the interviews move swiftly.
After all interviews, the board will select the five best male and female candidates.
These students will be eligible to attend Camp Fitch in 2024.
