With Poland Boys Soccer dominant seven to nothing win over Champion, it is very obvious that this is one good soccer team. Although the players on the team are all very talented, it’s not just them, but also the coaching staff that is helping them win games.
Among the staff one is a very prominent name in the program, Coach Bill Storkel. Storkel has been a big part in making Poland such a dominant name in the area.
Hayes made sure to describe how good of a guy he is not only on the soccer field but also off of it. Hayes emphasized that Storkel really cares not only about the game but also the kids.
Hayes responded, “He’s a great coach with a great sense of the game, always a positive guy and wants us to get better.”
Colin McBride, also a captain of the soccer team, said, “Storkel has always taught me great life lessons and has helped me grow into a stronger man than I was when I joined the program 3 years ago.”
They say that Storkel impacted their team and their personal goals.
Hayes confidently said, “Our team goals are always to win the conference, and this year we’re looking to make it past districts and see how far we can get.”
McBride enthusiastically answered, “My team goals are to make it back to a district championship and hopefully bring some hardware back for the city.”
The Soccer Dogs will try and continue their domination throughout the rest of the regular season and into the postseason.
