PSHS’ annual PSAT is to be held on October 14th, during school in the field house, starting at 7:30 in the morning.
Guidance counselors Mr. Vegas, Mrs. Cauldron, and Mr. Morocco held and worked the PSAT for students who are sophomores and juniors.
This prep-exam allows new opportunities for students including “practice for standard admission tests, [getting] a feeling for the real thing, [and] can take it during the school day instead of on another campus,” says Mr. Vagas.
Mrs. Cauldron then adds that it “does not go on your record and you can get a report of strengths and weaknesses”.
All in all, it has been said taking the PSAT is a great opportunity for students considering furthering their education via college options, as well as preparation for a formal SAT.
