As the Boys Soccer Team is striding for a long playoff run, as of right now, there has been one player who has been flying all around the field and constantly scoring for the Bulldogs, and that is number 10 Senior Andreas Tsikouris.
Andreas Tsikouris is leading the team in goals while his brother Skevos is battling on the other side of the field on defense, making this team unstoppable while led. There is also some helpful younger talent in Salvi Carramusa.
The Bulldogs are sitting at the top of the division winning the ne8 with a 9-0-1 conference record and an overall record of 13-1-4 with their first recent loss against Canfield losing 1-0.
The Bulldogs also had their first playoff game against Conneaut winning the game twelve to zero moving on to the second round of the playoffs with that win the dogs have lots of potential for a long run in the playoffs.
When Andreas was asked, “Overall, how do you think your doing this season?”
He said, “Good but I am not where I want to be yet.”
Andreas has high expectations for this team but more for himself.
When asked about his team goals, he kept it short and simple and said, “Win State.”
He thinks this team can go all the way and win the whole thing in his senior year.
Andreas says that he keeps it calm and practices but makes sure to get in all of his reps in practice that way it eliminates doubt, and he is ready for the tough games ahead.
We wish the boys soccer team a healthy season and wish for them to win the state championship.
