The girls’volleyball team’s season has come to an end, but the senior girls will always share the memories the head throughout the season. I had the pleasure to speak with the seniors: Avery Jakubovic, Leanna Boccieri, Harper Vesey, Emerson Gomon, and Giana Costello to get an inside view of their senior time together.

The girls have expressed volleyball was something they either enjoyed watching and wanted to join or they were told by a friend they should go for it.

A shared memory they had was their “last moment on the court,” said by Avery.  Senior night was a favorite memory from Harper and Emerson, while Giana enjoyed being with friends and bonding. Also, Leanna loved their Chik-Fil-a runs.

None of the players will be continuing volleyball in college due to wanting to focus on their future career plans and wanting to end with their high school team because it is a special group and they want to leave it there.

Their favorite games of the season are Girard, Struthers, and Hubbard sharing big wins and memories with each other and friends/family who came to support. Congratulations on a great season to the girl’s volleyball team!
