MLB Playoffs
The MLB playoffs are close to winding up as both the AL and NL teams are both in their league championship matchups. For the AL the Indians are looking to bring their brooms to Toronto and complete the 4-0 sweep of the Blue Jays. The Indians pitching is dominating the arguably best hitting team in baseball this season. The Indians have held the Blue Jays to only 3 runs throughout the 3 games that they have faced off. The game tonight is a must win from here on out for the Blue Jays, and even though the Blue Jays are down 3-0. If they can find their bats, they aren’t a team that will go down without a fight.
The NL race is more of a tighter race with the series tied 1-1 between the Cubs and Dodgers. Game 3 is tonight and both teams are looking to take the series lead as the Cubs are pitching their ace Jake Arrieta and the Dodgers are countering with Rich Hill, who isn’t their ace but is still looking to get the job done. The Dodgers are heavily relying on their ace Clayton Kershaw as he closed game 5 against the Nationals and recently shut out the hot hitting Cubs last Sunday. This is good that the Dodgers have an ace they can rely on in the clutch but, relying on him too much could cause trouble for the team. As for the Cubs they are well spread out pitching wise, and with the best closer in the game who consistently throws 103+mph they look to be in a good position for the rest of the series if they can get their bats going.
