My name is Lena Schafer, and I am a Freshman at Poland Seminary High School, and this is my first year writing for the Seminarian. I want to write for the newspaper because I’d like to enlighten others on topics they may not know  of otherwise. My other extracurricular activities include playing softball for my club team, being a representative on the Student Council, and Italian Club. In the future, I would like to attend college and then become a sports journalist.
