If you’ve been dreaming of a White Christmas, then, your dreams have just come true! Join the Poland Players on November 30, 2017, for the opening night of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas! This musical is based on the classic White Christmas (1954), with all the classic songs you love from the movie, as well as some incredible additions! Performances will be November 30th-December 2nd @ 7 p.m in the Auditorium.

Here at Poland Seminary, the members of the Poland Players have been working tirelessly to put together the show with as much grace and perfection as possible! From musical practice every night after school, to building the sets at 9 a.m every Saturday, the dedication and hard work brought forth by everyone is astounding.

The Poland Players are now cracking down to their final couple weeks of practice, and the show is really starting to come to life.

Mrs. Fonagy said that for her this show is a dream come true.

This is a show I have always wanted to do, and because of a phenomenal group of kids, it’s happening!

— Mrs. Fonagy

Mrs. Fonagy said, “This is a show I have always wanted to do, and because of a phenomenal group of kids, it’s happening!”

Mrs. Fonagy said that she will have to watch White Christmas a bunch in the next couple weeks because she doesn’t think she will be able to watch it after the show without missing her cast and the way they did it.

One word she would use to describe the show and cast this year is simply just, “Wow.”

Hailey Semchee, a senior at Poland and a lead in White Christmas, is ecstatic for this show.

Semchee said, “The people, we all just care about each other so much, and we care about the show so much. I am feeling all the feelings!”

From the sounds of it, this show is going to be pretty spectacular; so everyone should plan to make some time at the end of the month for a White Christmas. Good Luck to the Poland Players, and may all three show nights be “merry and bright!”
