Poland’s Dominic Pagan is one of the state’s best wrestlers. He is top 18 in the state in his weight class at 175 pounds. He has a record of 22-6 and placed first in most of those matches.

Senior Captain Pagan has proven to be one of the top wrestlers in the area by recording 17 pins over the course of the season, being voted Big Dog of the Valley, winning the Jackson Milton Tournament, placing 4th at the Eastern Ohio Wrestling League, and placing 7th at the Hefner Memorial Tournament.

We asked Dom his goals for the end of the season, and he answered by stating, “I want to make it to states and place top 4 in districts”

Reflecting on his most challenging match, he said, “My hardest match this season was Hudson Brinks from West Branch who was 13th in the state. I won with the final score ending at 4-2.”
