Having the opportunity to compete at the Division I level does not always come to many athletes. 1 out of every 57 high school football student-athletes earn the opportunity to play at the higher level; that is less than 2%. However, the Poland Football Program has produced several athletes who have earned Division I offers, including recent athletes such as Michael Voitus, Karter Kellgren, and Nate Williams. An additional athlete will be added to that ever-expanding list for the 2024-25 collegiate school year. Poland standout, Cole Fulton has defied the arduous odds and capitalized on the offer to play at the Division I level at Colgate University in New York.
Not very often does a high school with less than 500 students produce potential Division I talent, but Poland’s very own Cole Fulton has defied those odds. Athletic talent is very prominent in the Fulton bloodline, as both of Cole’s brothers received offers to continue their academic and athletic careers at prestigious Division I schools. We wish Cole the best of luck with his future endeavors!
