Week 11 College Football Top Games: Analysis/Prediction

#17 Baylor at #14 Oklahoma, Saturday, November 12, Noon

This game will be huge for Oklahoma. They need to win this game, at least, to get them into the top 10 to have a shot at the playoffs. At this point, I don’t think Oklahoma has a shot at the playoffs, but that isn’t gonna stop Dede Westbrook and co from trying. I expect Oklahoma to come out hungry and explosive, and the home crowd is just going to fuel them. Baylor will be exposed once again by Oklahoma. This will result in Oklahoma being in the top 10, and Baylor will finally be officially out.

Prediction: Oklahoma 42, Baylor 24

Mississippi State vs #1 Alabama, Saturday, November 12th, Noon

Big game for Alabama, and an absolutely perfect chance for Mississippi state to ruin their season. While their season was an utter disappointment, misery loves company. Every season, this game seems to be the struggle for Alabama; they always give Alabama a run for their money, and I expect nothing less for this year. At the same time, Alabama will NOT be stopped at home; Jalen Hursts and the Alabama Offense will not be stopped, and their defense will assert themselves once again. Roll tide in this one, as hard as it is to say.

Prediction: Alabama 41, Mississippi State 31

#3 Michigan at Iowa, Saturday November 12th, 8pm

This game is a big one for Michigan, who has been doubted and overlooked due to not enough hard away games. Michigan is 9-0, and I fully expect them to take this opportunity to prove to the nation that Michigan is the real deal. Iowa has had a very disappointing year, and they’ll be looking to ruin Michigan’s so far perfect season, and this game is home for Iowa, so it could give an added boost. Jim Harbaugh has this Michigan team prepared for a championship caliber game every week. This week is no different. Wilton Speight and the Michigan Offense is on fire, as is their defense led by Jabrill Peppers and Jourdan Lewis. I think Michigan wins this one big.

Prediction : Michigan 45, Iowa 10
